Casa Cyber has been a trustworthy partner for Brooklyn in helping people in the small business community becomming successful business owners for over 5 years.
We are a 501c3 a non-profit organization focusing on aspiring entrepreneurs that have great business ideas and are in need of our services via our Casa Cyber Business Incubator as well as our networking/educational events. We also assist those that are seeking to expand their current businesses or are relocating to the greater New York City area. We have a special emphasis on professionals wanting to do business in the Hispanic marketplace.
Our Entrepreneurship Education Curriculum called CASA CYBER is a proven, existing curriculum for growth-oriented entrepreneurs and small businesses. With the curriculum focused on the unique challenges of scaling established businesses this program allows participants to develop a growth strategy that addresses topics such as, but not limited to process, strategy, financing, marketing, human resources, leadership, tax implications, health care, and contracting and market/product development plans. We traditionally have had about 7 to 12 small businesses over a 3 to 5 month period utilizing the benefits of Casa Cyber. The reason that we chose the award winning curriculum is that the modules are simple enough for busy entrepreneurs to use while providing real world benefit as well as having reinforcements from the staff on hand.
To date the Casa Cyber Business Incubator has 80 English and 30 Spanish Business oriented classes. The requirements to enter the Business Incubator is to have 3-5 years of knowledge in the industry you are seeking to open your business in. Candidates study the courses necessary as deemed by the Executive Director and the Chamber Associate subsequently prepares the classes, makes the appointments, and follows up with these individuals every time a class was taken to ensure that they fully understood the on-line class material.
